AI Chatbot Policy

This website provides an AI chatbot (the "Docs Assistant"). This policy governs your use of it and supplements our Terms of Use. By using the chatbot, you agree to this policy.

What it does

The Docs Assistant answers questions using the content published on this website, generating its responses with a large language model. Responses are AI-generated and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date — always verify them against the linked sources and use your own judgement. The chatbot does not provide financial, investment, or legal advice, and nothing it outputs should be relied upon as such.

Information you submit

When you submit a question, it is sent to our systems and on to a third-party AI service provider in order to generate a response. We store the questions you submit in order to operate and improve the service, but we do not collect associated personal data.

Please do not submit personal data, confidential information, or account credentials. In particular, never share mnemonic phrases or private keys — the assistant will never ask for them and does not need them.

Third parties

Generating a response relies on a third-party AI service provider, OpenRouter. OpenRouter is an aggregator that does not host the models itself but routes each request to one of a number of underlying providers based on factors such as availability and capacity, so the provider handling a given request may change and cannot be identified in advance. Their handling of any data sent to them is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, over which we have no control; please review OpenRouter's privacy policy and terms of service.

Disclaimer and liability

The chatbot is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. You use it entirely at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Parity Technologies is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of, or reliance on, the chatbot or its output.

General

This policy is governed by the laws of England and Wales and should be read together with our Terms of Use. For enquiries, contact: info@parity.io.
